Twenty Years In The Making

Two Decades Building Someone Else's Bikes

Long before Baicycle carried its own name, the same team spent twenty years building e-bikes for some of the most demanding brands in Europe — frames cut and welded by hand, paint laid on in slow even coats, motors torqued to numbers most riders would never notice. The bikes shipped wearing other people's badges, and the team went back to the bench to build the next one.

That kind of time teaches you things a spec sheet never will — where a frame is allowed to flex and where it can't, which weld outlasts the rider and which one fails in a wet winter. Eventually the team stopped building that discipline into someone else's brand and started building it into their own.

— Same hands, same workshop. Finally, our own name.
The Baicycle Timeline

Twenty Years In, Six Years Old

The craft goes back two decades. The badge is a lot younger. Here's how the workshop became the brand — and it never was a straight line.

Building The Discipline First

Two decades spent as a premium OEM for European e-bike brands — learning exactly where a frame is allowed to flex, and where it never should.

Why Baicycle

Made To Move

Twenty years of building for someone else's badge taught the team exactly what a bike needs to earn its own.

01

Built To Standard

Every unit certified, no exceptions — no grey-market builds, no quiet shortcuts taken to protect a margin.

02

Built By The Makers

Two decades as a premium European OEM means the craft lives in the team's hands, not in an ad budget.

03

Engineered In-House

Every frame carries its own geometry — developed and tooled from a blank sheet, never pulled off a catalogue shelf.

04

European-Grade Craft

Welds, paintwork, and motor assembly finished to the standard usually reserved for luxury marques.

05

Honest Value

The same build quality, minus the badge premium. You're paying for engineering, not a logo.

06

Built For Every Road

Hub motor or mid-drive, commuter or trail — there's a Baicycle shaped for how you actually ride.

Certification & Compliance

The Standard Is The Brand

Every unit is held to the same benchmarks before it ever ships — no exceptions made for cost or speed.

EN 15194

Europe & Australia Standard

The core e-bike safety benchmark across Europe and Australia — covering structural strength, electrical safety, and electromagnetic compliance.

UL 2271

Battery Certification

The mandatory US battery standard. Every cell and pack is tested against thermal runaway, overcharge, and mechanical abuse.

UL 2849

Electrical System Standard

The mandatory US electrical-system standard for e-bikes — covering everything from the wiring harness to the charger.
