HAUL MORE.
WORRY LESS.
The BG03 is a mid-drive family cargo e-bike built for Australian streets, school runs and weekend adventures — two-passenger rated, 120 kg payload, and engineered to climb, carry and stop like it means it.
A cargo bike built for real Aussie life, not a showroom.
Most "cargo e-bikes" are commuter frames with a rack bolted on. The BG03 is different — a low step-through 6061 aluminium chassis, purpose-built mixed-wheel geometry, and a torque-sensing mid-drive motor that were all designed around one job: getting your kids, groceries, or gear where they need to go, safely and without a licence.
Every part earns its place on board.
Seven components, one job each — engineered together so the whole bike carries like it's rated for it.
Bafang 250W Mid-Drive
Up to 120Nm of torque through the cranks, not the hub — so hills, stop-starts and a loaded rear seat feel natural instead of jerky.
720Wh Integrated Battery
A 48V 15Ah pack tucked low into the frame for a lower centre of gravity, rated for up to 120km of pedal-assisted range.
20" x 4.0" Fat Tyre
A wide rear contact patch soaks up potholes and kerb cuts while keeping the loaded end of the bike planted and stable.
Extra-Long Rear Seat
A generously padded rear bench built for a second rider — child, partner, or cargo bag — over real distances.
Integrated Footrests
Fixed rear footrests keep a passenger's feet clear of the wheel and chain — built in, not an aftermarket add-on.
160mm Hydraulic Discs
Front and rear hydraulic discs give consistent, fade-free stopping power even fully loaded with two riders.

Bafang GT-800 mid-drive, tuned for cargo work
A torque sensor reads exactly how hard you're pedalling and matches assistance to it in real time, rather than just switching on at a fixed speed. The result is power that feels like your own legs, only stronger — the difference between a smooth pull away from the lights and a lurch.

720Wh, built into the frame, not bolted on top
A 48V 15Ah lithium pack sits low and central in the downtube instead of perched on a rack, keeping the bike's weight where it helps handling most — especially useful once a second rider or a full cargo load is on board. It's fully removable for charging indoors or swapping on longer days.

A genuine second seat, not an afterthought rack
The rear bench is long and padded enough for an actual passenger — a child heading to school, a partner on the school run, or just extra room for the day's shopping. Combined with the integrated footrests, it's designed around carrying a person, safely, every day.

Low step-through frame, mixed-wheel stability
A light but strong 6061 aluminium alloy frame keeps the standover height low, so mounting and dismounting with a passenger already aboard is easy. A 26" front wheel and 20" rear wheel combine agility up front with a wide, stable footprint out back where the load sits.

Hydraulic discs, front and rear
160mm hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels bring reliable, consistent stopping power in wet or dry conditions — the kind of margin you want with two people and a load of cargo depending on it.
Everything on the manifest.
